Intramurals
All students who do not participate in interscholastic athletics have the opportunity to experience competition
in intramural sports. Intramural activities are available in basketball and wiffle-ball. The availability of intramurals
varies with the interest of the student body. An intramural league with regularly scheduled games operates
after class hours. The teams are usually formed on a homeroom basis so that there are divisional champions
for each class with a playoff series to determine the school championship for each sport. Besides supplementing
the physical educational programs, the intramural program gives students of comparable ability the opportunity
of meeting, directing, leading, and cooperating with young men of their own age. All students are eligible for
intramural sports.
